Austin on ABC – When Austin (Michael Theo) arrives in London, he is determined to beat jetlag by diving straight into his UK bucket list. His top priority? Following in the footsteps of his idol, Billie Piper, the acclaimed British singer turned actor. She is renowned for her roles on screen and stage, especially as a beloved Doctor Who companion, and now a successful writer.
However, Ingrid (Sally Phillips) has different plans for the day, catching Julian (Ben Miller) off guard. She bids the boys farewell to pursue her own creative endeavors, leaving Julian and Austin to their own devices.
Julian decides to accompany Austin on his bespoke Billie Piper tour. Midway through, though, he abandons the excursion for a rare, hard-to-get monthly meeting with an online reputation specialist. This lawyer is adept at reducing negative Nazi search results.
Shortly after leaving Austin, guilt overwhelms Julian. He remembers his promise to Austin’s mother to look after her son. In a panic, he scrambles to find Austin, enlisting the help of Mel (Gia Carides) to locate the “lost Austin.” The pressing question remains: Will Julian find Austin in time, and more importantly, will Austin achieve his dream of meeting Billie Piper?
