Eurovision Song Contest 2025 on SBS is almost here – You’ll be saying ‘Sweet Sweet, (Yum Yum)’ to SBS’s exclusive LIVE and prime time ‘Access All Areas’ event coverage of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland from Wednesday 14 – Sunday 18 May on SBS and SBS On Demand.

From the first pyrotechnic explosion to the penultimate key change, TV’s hottest new couple Tony Armstrong and Courtney Act take on their inaugural year in the commentary booth. The star duo will decode every unforgettable moment from St. Jakobshalle arena, bring you behind-the-scenes insights, and cheer on our Milkshake Man from Manjimup, Go-Jo, as he opens the show for Semi Final 2 (full broadcast details below).

About SBS’s exclusive coverage

Whether it’s kicking goals as one of the nation’s most beloved figures in entertainment and sport or catapulting Australian drag excellence to unprecedented global recognition, both Tony and Courtney are seasoned pros when it comes to performing at an elite level. Buckle up for razor-sharp banter, uncontrollable laughs, undeniable chemistry, and the showstopping performances that make the Eurovision Song Contest a glittering spectacle you don’t want to miss!

Make sure you join in the conversation during the prime time ‘Access All Areas’ event coverage using the hashtag #SBSEurovision, with tweets and party pictures promoted on screen, where you can catch all the performances, interviews, and more.

About Go-Jo

Go-Jo is the solo project of Marty Zambotto. The emerging popstar is fast becoming a superstar, charming everyone he meets on the Eurovision pre-party circuit from Amsterdam to London to Madrid. Go-Jo has been serving smiles and some serious dance moves all over Europe since leaving sunny Sydney at the end of March.

He’s enjoyed spending time with fellow participants, creating content, and meeting fans ahead of the song contest next month, fully immersing himself in the experience. His delicious eccentric song Milkshake Man hit over 3 million streams in the first 6 weeks of release, 1.4 million views on YouTube, and charted in 16 countries on Spotify Viral Charts.

About the Eurovision Song Contest

Once again, although already pre-qualified for the Grand Final, the Big 5 (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom) will all perform in the Semi Finals. Semi Final 2 will feature performances from Remember Monday from the UK, Abor & Tynna from Germany, and Louane from France, with these countries also able to vote for artists in Semi Final 2.

The countries that qualify from the two Semi Finals, 10 from each, are decided solely on the votes cast by viewers of the competition. Countries not taking part in the competition will be able to vote online for their favourite songs.

Their votes will be added together and converted to points that will have the same weight as one participating country in both the Semi Finals and the Grand Final. Professional juries, made up of those working in the music industry, will continue to contribute to the result of the Grand Final combined with the public vote. Australia’s jury will be announced soon.

You can preview all 37 participating countries here
