Tonight on The Voice, superstar coach Kate Miller-Heidke captivated the audience with a stunning rendition of The Cranberriesā classic Linger, while artists from Team Guy and Team LeAnn braved the Knockouts to compete for one of only two places for each team in the Semi-Finals.
In the first Knockout, Team LeAnnās brand-new duo ā Tori and Brad ā went up against powerhouse performer Letitia Butler. Throwing the rulebook out the window, LeAnn invited both Tori and Brad, and Letitia to the final Showdown, leaving her with just one open spot for her five remaining artists.
Faced with this tough decision, LeAnn decided to wait till all the Knockout performances were done before awarding the last spot in the Showdown to FIFO worker Reuben De Melo.
During the final Showdown, Tori and Brad had to perform individually due to limited preparation time. Tori showcased her talent with Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood, while Brad delivered a heartfelt rendition of I Remember Everything by Zach Bryan featuring Kacey Musgraves; but it was Letitia and Reuben’s soulful performances of The Best by Tina Turner and Don’t You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia that secured them both coveted spots in the Semi-Finals.
From Team Guy, Jaydin Shingleton, SKÅøE and Roland WilliamsĀ emerged victoriousĀ in their Knockouts.Ā
They then faced off in a Showdown, delivering standoutĀ performance of I Wonāt Give Up by Jason Mraz, Anyone by Justin Beiber and Superstition by Stevie Wonder.
Ultimately, Jaydin and SKÅøE claimed the final two Semi-Final slots, while Roland was eliminated.
Tonightās eliminated artists included Cookie Robinson, Amber Sindoni, Laura Glynn, Duncan Toombs, Tori Darke and Brad Butcher from Team LeAnn; and James Vass, Beau Shearer, Roland Williams, Priscilla Stanely and Shannen Wick from Team Guy.
