Postcards on Channel 9 – Postcards, Victoria’s favourite travel show, is back and ready to share with viewers the best in dining, entertainment and travel experiences around the state this Sunday at 5.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Your favourite presenters are also back including 9News weather presenter Livinia Nixon, Channel 9 sports broadcaster and Tipping Point host Todd Woodbridge, media personality Lauren Phillips, 9News Melbourne reporter Madeline Spark, former rugby league player and television presenter Kris Smith, model and TV presenter Brodie Harper, as well as chef and restaurateur Shane Delia.
This week Lauren Phillips is trying out different brunch spots in South Melbourne (Boonwurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country). First up is Hector’s Deli for a mouthwatering sanga, then Agathe Patisserie for a freshly baked croissant. She finishes up her brunch tour at Clementine for a more traditional sit down brunch.
Brodie Harper hits the beach in St Kilda West (Boonwurrung Country), taking in the views from the foreshore and enjoying some paddleboarding with Melbourne’s original stand-up paddle board school, Stand-Up Paddle HQ. She then builds up an appetite for a scrumptious meal and coffee from Frankie’s Top Shop. Brodie ends her day at West Beach Pavilion, sipping on a glass of champagne and relaxing in one of their beach cabanas.
Madeline Spark is in Hillside and Taylors Lakes (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country) where she checks out milk bar turned cafe Baked Since 95 and authentic Thai restaurant Chur Thai.
And Shane Delia travels to Trentham to spend the day with chef and friend Annie Smithers (in Dja Dja Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country). Shane and Annie give viewers a behind-the-scenes experience at Annie’s restaurant, Du Fermier, as well as visiting the local produce store next door, Ruby Goose Foods.
