Paramount+’s new docuseries, The Changemakers (working title) has been greenlit for eight episodes. The series, produced by Paramount, in partnership with Proper Content, will feature the stories of eight everyday people fighting for a better world, and will premiere on Paramount+ globally in 2023.
Each episode of the documentary series will feature a different compelling storyline of people facing challenges in specific locations across the globe.
Grassroots activists will work to bring global attention to their specific campaigns, with the help of a panel of “super-activists”, who each have extensive experience in advocating for change.

The series will be produced for Paramount as part of Content for Change, the company’s global initiative that aims to counteract racism, bias, stereotypes, and hate on and off-screen through three pillars, one of which is focused on systemically transforming the creative supply chain.
The Changemakers (working title) will join a host of the world’s best entertainment currently streaming on Paramount+, including Let The Right One In, Ink Master, Sky Blue: Inside Sydney FC, The Bridge Australia, Secret Headquarters, So Help Me Todd, Honor Society, Couples Therapy Australia, Jerry & Marge Go Large, The Offer, The Man Who Fell To Earth, HALO, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, iCarly, 1883 and Five Bedrooms, with Tulsa King and Monarch streaming soon.
