“They’re not my friends, I don’t care about them, I don’t care what they have to say,” she shares.
Carina sees herself as Switzerland and feels like the group have ‘attacked’ Lauren, so she and Rhi head out to check on her.
As they try help her see reason, Lauren calls the group “buffoons”.
She gets emotional as she explains that she puts on a front – but inside, Awhina has just revealed that Eliot told her Lauren called the wives “drunk bogans”.
So, it’s safe to say Jamie is frustrated by Carina and Rhi’s neutrality.Play Video
Carina and Rhi check in on Lauren
The trio head back inside, where Lauren drops a truth bomb that everyone had already presumed:
There is zero spark between her and Clint.
Thinks very quickly spiral, as Lauren says she’s talked to those she wants to during her time in the experiment and it’s certainly not Jamie or Awhina.
Jamie immediately reacts, prompting Carina to try and bring down the intensity.
“We’re all friends here,” she says.
I don’t think that’s true, Carina!Play Video
Lauren reveals she feels no spark with Clint
The retreat air becomes very frosty as the women return to spill the beans on their evening.
Awhina, Beth and Jamie pull their husbands aside for a big gossip session and they quickly realise Clint and Lauren’s ideas for their future do not match up.

Dave puts on his best vigilante suit and determines it is his place to perform justice.
As Clint prepares for a piece to camera, Dave is seen walking behind him. In an unprecedented move and one rarely seen on MAFS, he interrupts Clint’s interview to deliver a damning blow about Lauren’s intentions.
“She’s been saying with you there’s no spark, she’s not interested,” Dave says.
“We wanted to give you a heads-up from the start saying as soon as you step away from this it’s all going to be over. I thought you were getting taken for a ride, and it seems to be… this is what’s happened.”Play Video
Dave warns Clint about what Lauren revealed at Girls’ Night
The next morning, Clint asks Lauren about this, but she says it is a lie. This is, ironically, a lie. We literally saw her say it 20 minutes ago.
“They’re actually just trolls. They’re all mental and bullies,” she seethes.
The drama has inspired Lauren to cancel her rescue flight out of Byron to stay out of spite.

Lauren reassures Clint that she still wants to pursue a relationship with him
Some of the other couples head out for some quality time around Byron.
Awhina and Adrian reconnect at the beach, while Jamie and Dave align their chakras in a crystal store.
They’re going to need some serious spiritual protection ahead of the final night’s drinks, as Jamie is frustrated not only by Lauren’s attitude, but Carina and Rhi’s empathy for her.Play Video
Jamie tells Dave she felt ‘unsupported’ by her friends
Speaking of, Rhi is uncomfortable about the way Lauren spoke about the other women last night.
Turns out, she doesn’t think calling other people “feral bogans” is super nice.
Lauren is… not very receptive to this feedback and Rhi has to awkwardly slink away with absolutely nothing resolved.Play Video
Rhi confronts Lauren on the comments she made about the other brides
Later, it’s not just Eliot’s back hair that’s having a terrible time.
Lauren and Clint have completely isolated themselves from the group, where they are free to make snarky comments about David Attenborough narrating the series in peace.
Teejay is keen to find out how they are, or just get some gossip.
Lauren completely obliges: “It was like Awhina and the troll screaming at me,” she recounts.
Teejay is gobsmacked by the pettiness, and returns to the group to share the goss with Eliot and Jeff.
When Jamie and Dave arrive back, they’re filled in as well.

Teejay shocked as one bride calls co-star a ‘troll’
“I have no interest in being civil with Lauren. I would rather sit here and tweeze out every individual hair on my body,” Jamie reacts.
“And I’m Greek, do you know how f–king long that would take me?”
Ah yes. The scene is perfectly set for one very explosive final night.
Barely a sip has been enjoyed before Dave brings up trollgate.
He wants to know how Clint feels about Lauren’s disrespectful comments, but that backfires.
“I back Loz,” Clint replies, to gasps.
Lauren says Jamie ambushed her last night: “You’re a bunch of wild animals, that’s what it felt like.”
Lauren continues to be dismissive as Awhina tries to explain why last night unravelled, which causes… more unravelling.
EXCLUSIVE: Why Ryan was so angry over wife’s X-rated admission – despite his own crude comment weeks prior
Lauren shocks Jamie by claiming Rhi and Carina also believe she was attacked last night.
”I just said the delivery could’ve been a bit better,” Rhi says, to a big, smug thank you from Clint.
As Jamie gets louder and more frustrated, Clint swears at her and Dave then comes at him.
IT’S SPIRALLING.
Carina agrees with Jamie’s point, but not her communication.
Jamie thinks it’s unfair for her to get shamed just because she’s louder, despite the fact Lauren and Clint are the ones being rude.
”Sydney can hear you now,” Clint remarks, firing Jamie and Dave up even more.Play Video
Dave questions Clint’s unwavering support for Lauren
Clint tells her to “sit the f–k down” multiple times, which prompts Adrian to confront him about swearing at a woman like that.
Are we all keeping up? This is a lot.
”I do feel like Jamie is owed an apology,” Jacqui pipes up.Play Video
Jamie breaks down after feeling unsupported by her friends
Carina and Rhi feel unfairly targeted, but Jamie says she’s defended everyone in the group at some point and just wants that same energy back when she needs it.
“When it serves you well, when I’m yelling for you, then it’s OK,” Jamie cries. “But where is my defence?”
It’s an unfortunate end to the Couples Retreat as Lauren and Clint sit in the corner, wishing for popcorn as they watch the group implode.
It’s time to head back to Sydney. Are we all feeling relaxed? Refreshed? Ready for another easy, breezy Dinner Party?
Ha! We’ll see you there, at 7.30pm tomorrow night.
