An epic week of AFL Grand Final excitement on Channel 9 – Footy fans will be treated to a massive week of AFL programming next week on Channel 9 and 9Now.
With the countdown on to the 2024 AFL Grand Final, Nine is serving up an epic week of footy action, entertainment and analysis in a smorgasbord of AFL programs.
THE SUNDAY FOOTY SHOW
The week kicks off with The Sunday Footy Show on Sunday, September 22, at 10.00am. The team will bring viewers exclusive interviews with stars from both Grand Final contenders, and look back at the worst and best of the 2024 AFL season. Plus, Carlton Football Club captain, Patrick Cripps, joins us ahead of the 2024 Brownlow Medal.
FOOTY FURNACE
On Sunday night at 9.30PM join Tom Morris, Jimmy Bartel and Leigh Matthews as they review this weekend’s Preliminary Finals and identify where each game was won and lost. Tom Morris has the latest breaking news ahead of Grand Final week.
FOOTY CLASSIFIED
Get more of your footy fix with Footy Classified on Tuesday, September 24, at 9.45pm, when Craig Hutchison, Caroline Wilson, Matthew Lloyd and Kane Cornes preview the Grand Final to be played at the MCG on Saturday, September 28.
Then, on Wednesday, September 25, at 9.40pm, the sharpest minds in AFL broadcasting, Eddie McGuire, Matthew Lloyd, Damian Barrett and Jimmy Bartel present another jam-packed edition of Footy Classified. GWS Giants spearhead Jesse Hogan joins the panel to reflect on a spectacular season. And we reveal the winner of the Individual Performance of the Year, who wins a brand new Lexus from Lexus of Blackburn.
MY ROOM GRAND FINAL SPECTACULAR
On Thursday, September 26, at 7.30pm the My Room Grand Final Spectacular, returns live from the Palms at Crown Melbourne. The Sunday Footy Show team joins forces with My Room Children’s Cancer Charity to raise funds for kids fighting cancer.
Join host Eddie McGuire, alongside Alicia Loxley and Clint Stanaway, along with Tony Jones, Nathan Brown, Matthew Lloyd, Kane Cornes and Damian Barrett for a night filled with footy action and entertainment.
The panel will have the final word ahead of the big game two days later as well as meeting the brave children and families that My Room supports.
Viewers will be treated to live musical performances from stars Cody Simpson and Emmanuel Kelly.
Plus, My Room ambassadors, Blues captain Patrick Cripps, Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli, Essendon star Andrew McGrath, Hawthorn gun Will Day and Demon Adam Tomlinson, will lend their support.
My Room’s other ambassadors, including Kate Langebroek, Michelle Payne, Brodie Harper and Josh Piterman, will lend their support to take donations in the phone room.
And Billy Brownless will also make an appearance, joining punters in some of Crown Melbourne’s hottest spots.
