Patience is upset when she is questioned by the police after coming under suspicion in the burning man
investigation. She needs to prove her innocence and crack the case.
Detective Bea learns more about the young woman’s autism and her difficult past and feels responsible for her.
Patience is key to solving the case as she makes some important connections with other cold cases.
Together they uncover a trail leading to South America and back.
