NBA on ESPN – Just four teams remain in the hunt for the NBA In-Season Tournament Championship and ESPN brings extensive wall to wall coverage live from Las Vegas, with the Pacers-Bucks and Pelicans-Lakers Semi Finals and the NBA In-Season Tournament Championship Game live.
The NBA In-Season Tournament Semi Finals will take place on Friday December 8 in a huge live double header on ESPN2.
First up at 9.15am AEDT the Indiana Pacers meet the Milwaukee Bucks in the First Semi Final.
The Indiana Pacers secured their place in the first Semi Final with an impressive win over the Boston Celtics 122-112.
Milwaukee meanwhile were red hot in their 146-122 Quarter Final win against the New York Knicks.
Star Giannis Antetokounmpo led with 35 points and Damian Lillard chimed in with 28 in a solid display.
The Second Semi Final follows at 1pm AEDT when the New Orleans Pelicans face off with the Los Angeles Lakers.
New Orleans Pelicans secured their spot in the last four after seeing off the Sacramento Kings 127-117.
It was ex-Laker Brandon Ingram who outshone Pelicans star Zion Williamson in the Quarter Final win, putting up 30 points.
Ingram will look to haunt his former club, as New Orleans attempt to shut down the explosive offense of LeBron James and Anthony Davis – he himself a former Pelican.
The Lakers survived a tense Quarter Final against the Phoenix Suns and are favourites to take out the In-Season Championship.
The Semi Final winners will then proceed to the NBA In-Season Tournament Championship game on Sunday December 10 at 12.30pm AEDT LIVE on ESPN2.
The winners will not only be crowned the first ever NBA In-Season Tournament Champions but each player will take home $500,000 USD.
ESPN will also bring viewers extensive coverage direct from Las Vegas.
Friday December 8 sees special edition of Nothing but Net with ESPN basketball analyst Kane Pitman joined by ESPN host, Skubie Mageza along with input from ESPN’s NBA roster.
The pair will return for the Nothing But Net: Weekend Edition on Saturday December 9 as they set the stage for the historic NBA In-Season Tournament Championship Game.
Hoops fans will also enjoy regular NBA studio programming, including special editions of NBA Today and NBA Countdown with Malika Andrews, Stephen A. Smith, Adrian Wojnarowski, Michael Wilbon and Bob Myers.
