Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 251 000 and an average audience lead of 196 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #9 with 1 333 000 (843 000). Farmer Wants a Wife was #4 with 1 698 000 (923 000). 911 was #16 with 984 000 (410 000). The Irrational was #43 with 368 000 (132 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 634 000 (1 053 000) Lego Masters was #3 with 1 752 000 (728 000). Paramedics was #13 with 1 128 000 (402 000). Footy Classified was #35 with 437 000 (160 000). 100% Footy was #44 with 342 000 (97 000).

The Project was #15 with 1 007 000 (375 000). MasterChef Australia – Launch was #6 with 1 423 000 (776 000). A preview of A Gentleman in Moscow was #18 with 869 000 (219 000).

  • Lego Masters was Monday’s No. 1 entertainment program across Australia with the key demographic of People 25-54. It secured a Total TV National Audience of 728,000 and a BVOD audience of 48,000 (up 9.1% on the same night last year).
  • 9News was the No. 1 program across Australia with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also the No. 1 program in Sydney and Melbourne with Total People. In Sydney, the bulletin was 36,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor, while in Melbourne it was a massive 78,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor. The combined national bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.047 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.244 million (up 12.5% year-on-year). Its BVOD audience of 80,000 was up 70.2% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair was Australia’s No. 1 program at 7.00pm and was also a timeslot winner in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.634 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.053 million – up 12.3% on the same night last year. Its BVOD audience was 65,000 – up 71.1% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.362 million and a Total TV National Audience of 710,000, representing a 49.2% timeslot lift when compared to the corresponding day last year.
  • Today was the No. 1 breakfast show in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 833,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 338,000.

The 9Network was No. 1 on Monday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54 and People 16-39.

The Project was up 7% week-on-week. 10 was up 33% week-on-week, Network 10 was up 24%.

Last week, with 7-day viewing, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Monday, 15 April) reached 1.43 million total national viewers.
