Wallabies v Wales on Stan – Rugby World Cup 2023 rivalry will be reignited when the Wallabies face Wales, while the All Blacks host arch rivals England, kicking off a huge month of international rugby. This marks the first game for the Wallabies under new head coach Joe Schmidt who has unveiled a fresh side to face Wales with seven debutants led by Liam Wright, who was announced as captain yesterday.
The Welsh haven’t won in Australia since 1969, but outclassed the Wallabies at Rugby World Cup 2023 where they ran away as 40-6 winners, knocking the men in gold out in the group stage.
Wallabies v Wales is the second game of an epic double header in Sydney, and follows the Wallaroos v Fijiana clash from 4:30pm AEST. All the action from both matches will be streaming ad-free, live and on demand in 4K Ultra HD on Stan Sport.
