Episode One:
Peter becomes a lecturer at the University of Buckingham and is impressed when an eager new student – Ben Field – walks into his classroom. When Ben and Peter bump into each other in town, Peter invites Ben round for tea. Their discussions take on a different complexion to Peter’s past students, and when Peter tells Ben that he’s looking for a lodger, Ben suggests fellow student and friend Martyn Smith.
