The Cotswolds and Beyond with Pam Ayres on SBS – Poet and national treasure Pam Ayres sets off for a second time around the beautiful Cotswolds, but this time she’ll also be going a little further afield, visiting some of the lovely places that are just ‘over the border’.
Once again Pam’s adventures will take in grand stately homes, beautiful gardens, gorgeous scenery and sampling the region’s fantastic food and drink.
Episode One: Stonehenge
As mid-summer approaches, Pam heads to one of Britain’s most special places – Stonehenge. With privileged private access to this ancient stone circle, Pam watches the sun rise and chats to expert Susan Greaney to find out more about this historic landmark.
Then Pam walks through Westonbirt’s woodland town of Cheltenham to explore its Regency architecture.
