Rise Of The Nazis: The Manhunt on SBS and SBS on Demand S4E1 – Discover the story of the little-known people who, in the aftermath of World War II, hunted Nazi war criminals and brought the perpetrators of the Holocaust to justice.
Episode One:
At the end of the war British troops are confronted with the true horrors of Nazi crimes when they discover Bergen Belsen concentration camp. Preparations begin for a trial at Nuremberg, where 22 of the highest-ranking Nazis, including Hermann Goering, will face charges of war crimes, crimes against the peace, conspiracy and crimes against humanity.
At the start of the trial they all plead not guilty. The Allied prosecutors now face a battle to prove their guilt.
