This residential project highlights the importance of green spaces for our mental and emotional wellbeing and points to an exciting sign for the future of apartment living.
JOHANNA + ADAM – AMAZING HOME: NORTHCOTE CAR SPACE CONVERSION
Living close to the city can be great, but land is hard to come by and expensive. Joh and Adam are going to explore a house that’s taken a small inner-city block, that is so small it was previously only used as a car parking space, and become an award-winning two-bedroom home. With only 4.6 metres of width to play with, attention to detail and clever ideas were a must. Using cutting edge technology, simple concrete and plywood was shaped into high-end curves and waves and the result is a sustainable, unique and unforgettable, small-footprint, three-level home.

With a marinade featuring coconut cream and red curry paste, Clarissa’s grilled prawn skewers recipe is delicious. Not letting anything go to waste, Clarissa makes a beautiful dipping sauce from the leftovers of the marinade, so don’t throw anything away.
