Ambulance Australia on 10 – In this heartfelt one-hour episode, Ambulance NSW paramedics are called toan elderly man with a severe head wound anda serious motorcycle accident in one of Sydney’s busiest motorways.

A trainee call taker must guide a caller to perform CPR to save a man’s life on an isolated bush trail.

The drama escalates as emergency services are called to a woman with serious burns and to the extraction of a non-compliant 170 kilo man from a difficult location.

Every day, emergency medical call takers, dispatchers, specialist clinicians and paramedics make split second decisions that can mean the difference between life and death. Over the past year, in NSW alone, 1.2 million calls were made to NSW Ambulance Triple Zero. Delving into the day-to-day operations of the 20 paramedics and three duty operations managers, this season is full of stories from the front line, where nothing is taken for granted.
