The Traitors US: New Blood begins streaming free on 10 – A new group of everyday Americans is entering the castle. The Traitors US: New Blood begins streaming free on 10 from 5pm today.

Alan Cumming returns to host the Emmy-winning reality competition. However, this season changes the casting formula. Instead of familiar reality television personalities, the new instalment features 22 civilian contestants from across the United States.

For Network 10, the launch extends the momentum created by the latest Australian season. More than 6.3 million Australians watched The Traitors Australia, hosted by Gretel Killeen. That figure comes from the reach data supplied with the announcement.

A new group enters the game

The 22 contestants come from a wide range of professions. For example, the cast includes lawyers, dog groomers, funeral directors and barrel racers. Each player hopes to survive the psychological game and compete for the grand prize.

Some players will secretly become Traitors. Their task is to deceive the group and remove competitors under the cover of night.

Meanwhile, the remaining players are known as the Faithful. They must work out who is lying to them. They can banish suspected Traitors, but every incorrect decision strengthens the hidden players. As a result, another Faithful faces elimination.

Alan Cumming returns as host

Cumming returns after winning the Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program. It was his third consecutive victory in the category.

In addition, his theatrical presentation has become a defining part of the US version. It stretches from the castle ceremonies to the tense round-table banishments.

The series is also arriving with another major awards result. The Traitors US won Outstanding Reality Competition Program at the latest Emmy Awards. It was the show’s third win in a row.

Therefore, the civilian experiment will attract extra attention. The new cast must create alliances without established reputations or existing relationships. Those factors often shape celebrity editions of the format.

More international Traitors coming to 10

Network 10 plans to expand its international collection later in 2026. First, season two of The Celebrity Traitors UK will arrive on the service. It will bring another group of well-known players into the British castle.

Season two of The Traitors India is also on the way. Later, season three of The Traitors New Zealand will join the lineup. Consequently, Australian viewers will have access to several versions of the deception format in one place.

Those additions will sit alongside the Australian and US instalments. Each edition uses the same contest between the Faithful and the Traitors. However, its host, setting and casting give the game a different character.

How to watch The Traitors US: New Blood
