Free tickets available for Shaun Micallef’s new comedy quiz show – Shaun Micallef and his son Gabe Micallef will host the Australian version of Parents’ Evening, with free studio audience tickets now available for filming in Sydney.
The comedy quiz show will record at Network 10’s Pyrmont studios from Wednesday, 2 September to Saturday, 12 September. Afternoon and evening sessions are available across selected dates, and audience members must be at least 16 years old.
For viewers, the ticket release offers an early look at a new local entertainment format before its television launch. It also brings Shaun and Gabe together on screen, with the father-and-son hosts guiding celebrity families through a game built around how well parents understand their children.
What is Parents’ Evening?
Parents’ Evening began as a UK comedy quiz show hosted by Romesh Ranganathan. The Australian adaptation retains the family-based premise while placing Shaun Micallef at the helm alongside Gabe.
Each episode pairs celebrities with their real-life parent or child. The teams compete to win money for a chosen charity, but success does not simply depend on answering questions correctly.
Instead, contestants must predict how smart their parent thinks they are. Their fortunes rest with the family member who is supposed to know them best, creating plenty of room for confident answers, awkward revelations and playful disagreements.
