Sam Pang Tonight returns to Channel 10 for Season 3 – Australia’s only tonight show is heading back to television, with Sam Pang Tonight returning for its third season at 8.40pm Monday 19 October on Channel 10.
The return follows a major year for Sam Pang, who is coming back to the desk after winning the Gold Logie at the 2026 TV Week Logie Awards. For Channel 10, the new run restores a locally made late-night comedy show to Monday evenings, combining topical monologues, celebrity interviews and studio games in a format built around Pang’s dry delivery.
Viewers will also be able to stream the program free through 10, giving the weekly series a live broadcast home and an on-demand destination.
Sam Pang brings back the Wheel of Segments
Season 3 will again feature Pang’s Monday monologue, guest interviews, comedy sketches and the unpredictable Wheel of Segments. The program’s rotating guest announcers are also set to return.
Pang joked that the new season nearly did not happen.
“I’m thrilled to be back for season three. To be honest, the network wanted to replace me, but I reminded them how well that worked out for The Godfather Part III.”
The show’s second season welcomed guests including Russell Crowe, Priscilla Presley, Rosie O’Donnell and 5 Seconds of Summer. Shaun Micallef, Denise Scott, Sam Campbell and Tony Martin were among the guest announcers who added to the program’s loose, unpredictable style.
The returning format gives Channel 10 another outlet for Australian comedy and entertainment interviews. It also keeps Pang at the centre of the network’s entertainment slate after his Logies success.

Sam Pang Tonight Season 3 premieres at 8.40pm Monday 19 October on Channel 10 and streams free on 10.
