Network 10 launches streaming channels on VIDAA in Australia – Network 10 has announced a new partnership with VIDAA to bring a selection of its streaming linear channels to VIDAA-powered Smart TVs across Australia.
The deal will give viewers access to live content from 10, 10 Drama, 10 Comedy and Nickelodeon through VIDAA-powered TVs. These include new Smart TVs from partners such as Hisense and Toshiba.
As a result, viewers will be able to stream Network 10 channels without needing a terrestrial aerial connection.
Network 10 channels arrive on VIDAA
The partnership brings Network 10’s free-to-air broadcast brands into the VIDAA channels environment. It also gives Australian viewers another way to access live television through connected TV technology.
The launch reflects a wider shift in how audiences watch live content. More viewers now move between broadcast-style channels, streaming apps and on-demand programming from the same Smart TV interface.
For Network 10, the deal supports its strategy to expand linear distribution through IP. It also places its channels in front of more connected TV households.
Lachlan Roach, VP Partner Management and Business Development, Paramount Australia, said the partnership would make live and scheduled programming easier to access.
“We are pleased to be partnering with VIDAA to integrate our 10 linear channels via IP into the VIDAA channels environment, giving audiences greater and easier access to live and scheduled broadcast through their connected TV experience.
“This collaboration further cements our broader strategy to scale our linear distribution via IP across multiple platforms, delivering strong commercial outcomes and added value across our assets.”
VIDAA expands local content offering
Australia remains one of the world’s most advanced connected TV markets. Meanwhile, VIDAA powers millions of Smart TVs in Australian homes.
The platform aims to make live channels easy to find through a streamlined, content-first interface. Therefore, the new partnership gives Network 10 greater visibility in a growing connected TV environment.
VIDAA CEO Guy Edri said Australian viewing habits are changing quickly.
“The way users in Australia watch live television is evolving rapidly.
“By bringing Network 10’s streaming channels to VIDAA, we’re combining the strength of trusted broadcast brands with the simplicity of the connected TV experience. Our focus is always on quality content and effortless access, making it easier for viewers to find and enjoy what they love.”
Live TV and streaming in one place
The launch also supports the broader move toward integrated TV experiences. Rather than relying on extra hardware or setup, VIDAA allows viewers to switch between live programming and streaming apps in one interface.
In addition, VIDAA integrates live broadcast streaming, FAST channels and premium apps. That approach places free-to-air channels beside other entertainment options already available on Smart TVs.
Edri said the partnership reinforces VIDAA’s focus on local content.
“As the leading platform in Australia, our responsibility is to ensure premium local content is both visible and easily accessible.
“This partnership is another step in reinforcing VIDAA as the home of high-quality entertainment in the region.”
Network 10 is part of the global Paramount family. Its Australian portfolio includes 10, 10 Drama, 10 Comedy, Nickelodeon and 10 Streaming.
