Australian Ninja Warrior jumps to 10 with Robert Irwin, Georgie Tunny and Beau Ryan – Australian Ninja Warrior is moving to 10 in 2027, with Network 10 confirming a new hosting team and a refreshed course.
Robert Irwin, Georgie Tunny and Beau Ryan will front the new season. The series will screen on 10 and 10 Streaming.
It is a major move for one of Australia’s best-known competition formats. Australian Ninja Warrior launched on Nine in 2017 and was still a Channel 9 and 9Now series in 2022. Its shift to Channel 10 gives the brand a new free-to-air home after several years away.
The announcement also gives Robert Irwin a clear next step at 10. The network rested I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! for 2027, before Seven confirmed it would take over the format. The Ninja Warrior release does not address Seven’s future hosts, but Irwin is now locked in for a major new 10 series.
A new course for 10
Network 10 says the 2027 season will feature a new course and a new generation of competitors.
The show will again focus on everyday Australians and elite athletes. Competitors will take on the obstacle course as they chase the title of Australian Ninja Warrior.
Endemol Shine Australia, part of Banijay Entertainment, will produce the series for Network 10. The format is based on SASUKE, created by Tokyo Broadcasting System Television Inc.
Robert Irwin joins Ninja Warrior
Irwin said he has been a longtime fan of Australian Ninja Warrior. He described the format as a showcase for dedication, courage and hard work.
Tunny said she loves the stories behind each competitor. She said the series is about heart, strength and courage, as well as the obstacle course.
Ryan also brings first-hand experience to the hosting lineup. He has previously competed on Australian Ninja Warrior and said he knows how tough the course can be.
Casting now open
Casting is open now through 10’s casting website.
Australian Ninja Warrior will screen on 10 and 10 Streaming in 2027.
