Two brothers lose everything

When their deli-tycoon father suddenly dies, they lose everything. Then they find out the truth. Their Baba was more drug lord than corporate magnate.

Into the underworld

The freaked-out boys are ushered into the underworld, kicking and screaming, literally. Their guide is Lucky Auntie, played by Poorna Jagannathan from Never Have I Ever.

Lucky Auntie has a nemesis too. Ahmad Uncle is played by Brian George.

Every move is life or death

Raj and Mir fumble from one ridiculous catastrophe to the next. In their new world, every move they make is life or death.

As the series puts it, when your trust fund is gone, so is the luxury of screwing up. A marathon is the ideal way to watch their crash course unfold.

Deli Boys airs Sunday 8 November at 8.30pm on SBS 2 and streams free on SBS On Demand.
