Maaka Pohatu (Wellington Paranormal) stars as Warren, a lovable suburban dad, who has an interdimensional vortex in his shed. He’s managed to keep it secret until the day of his daughter Lucy’s (Louise Jiang) 18th birthday, when she falls into it.
Warren follows and both are hurled into wildly different versions of their home, each more bizarre than the last. From a dystopian world of intelligent refrigerators, to a cardboard city, to a phone-zombie apocalypse, father and daughter stumble through each universe with mismatched skills, emotional baggage, but an ever-deepening bond.
Season One, Episode Five:
Warren and Lucy land outside a 1930’s style manor dressed as detectives and stumble into a murder mystery. Lady Schrödinger is dead—impaled on a stag’s head—and their friends reappear in bizarre new roles. Lucy leads the investigation, but solving the case only resets the loop and triggers another murder.
Season One, Episode Six:
Warren and Lucy land in a peaceful, cardigan-wearing universe where rugby has been outlawed and replaced by poetry, pan flutes, and fermented soybeans. Despite the utopian vibe, Warren is horrified
