Tonight | Big Fat Quiz Best Bits on SBS: Jimmy Carr revisits the biggest shocks – Jimmy Carr returns to the quiz lectern for Big Fat Quiz Best Bits: Ultimate Shocks, a collection of surprising winners, losers, jokes and questions. It premieres Monday 26 October at 7:35pm on SBS and streams free on SBS On Demand.
The six-part format draws on memorable moments from The Big Fat Quiz. The emphasis is on the reactions and exchanges around the questions as much as on the answers themselves.
Jimmy Carr and the quiz guests
Miranda Hart, David Mitchell, Rob Beckett and Sue Perkins are among the guests featured. The line-up also includes Romesh Ranganathan, Michelle Wolf, Mo Gilligan, Sarah Millican, Nish Kumar, Rob Brydon and Aisling Bea.
With that range of comedians, Ultimate Shocks brings several different panel combinations into one best-bits run. The title points to the unexpected moments: unlikely winners and losers alongside the jokes that interrupted the quiz.
A new best-bits run on SBS
Viewers who remember the original programmes can revisit standout exchanges, while newcomers can meet the personalities without needing to have seen the earlier quizzes. Carr remains the host tying the selections together across the six parts.
