In this series, Alexander will travel the length and breadth of India, exploring some of the country’s most famous destinations; Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Bandipur, to experience the diverse landscapes, the old cultural heart and the modernisation, of each destination.
Series One, Episode Two:
On the second leg of his Indian adventure, Alexander heads to Rajasthan’s capital, the pink city of Jaipur. He explores the city’s rich gemstone heritage, meets a street photographer with a fabulous antique camera and discovers how one entrepreneur is shaking up Jaipur’s traditional leathermaking industry.
Bidding farewell to Jaipur, Alexander then travels 2000km south to the state of Karnataka, stopping at Silk City, aka Ramanagara and ventures into tiger country at Bandipur National Park.
