The one-part documentary, formally titled **The Heist: The Louvre’s Stolen Crown Jewels**, examines a shocking theft that turned France’s most secure museum into a crime scene.
In the space of a seven-minute raid, the Louvre became the centre of a global mystery. The documentary features expert analysis from journalists, art-crime investigators and those who know the museum best.
The result is a gripping account of a crime that museum insiders reportedly saw coming for years. However, their warnings were ignored.
