Stephenson’s covert strategy to draw the United States into the war, birthed what would later evolve into the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). But his audacious plan did not come without controversy.
Shadow Man tells the story of Stephenson’s clandestine endeavors that have had a profound impact on history. Interviews with a world class group of experts in their fields, including Timothy Naftali, one of only few living historians to have seen the top-secret files of the WW2 operation, are threaded throughout the series to offer a modern-day perspective.
