Landing at Hoi An, an international trading hub pre-dating the East India Trading Company, comedian Bill Bailey finds himself in a basket-shaped boat facing the seas of change that have shaped the country since the end of the Vietnam War.
Bill finds a new friend in Chef Duc, an asylum seeker during the war, now an internationally acclaimed chef, who prepares a meal of produce from the famous Hoi An Markets.
However, fancy cuisine requires fancy attire, and with the world-renowned tailors of Hoi An close by, will Bill find a suit that sparkles like the lights of the lantern festival?
