Alone Australia Season 4 winner Trent Fenton revealed – Tasmanian dad of three and former Navy chef Trent Fenton has won Alone Australia Season 4. He survived 52 days in the Arctic Circle and takes home the $250,000 prize.

52 days in the Arctic Circle
Fenton outlasted nine other participants in the northern reaches of Sápmi, Finland. The 40-year-old lived without modern comforts or contact with the outside world. He faced subzero temperatures, extreme calorie deficits, predators and the psychological pressure of isolation in SBS’s survival series.
For SBS, the result closes another milestone season for its biggest original series. Alone Australia has reached 3.41 million viewers across Total TV. SBS On Demand accounts for 45 per cent of viewing, which highlights the program’s strength across broadcast and streaming.

“I’m probably wired a bit differently to others,” Fenton said. “When I think about being in the bush, I think of adventure, hunting, fishing and some of my happiest memories. It’s a place where I feel completely comfortable in my own company.”
Fenton said the opportunity to take part in Alone Australia had been “unbelievable”. His goal was to inspire his children. He wanted to show them that hard work and persistence can help make dreams a reality.
How the final three finished
Three participants remained ahead of the final episode: New Zealand farmer Clint, Western Australian permaculture practitioner and educator Jasper, and Fenton. Clint left Sápmi after 47 days. He had spent almost seven weeks without protein. Jasper’s journey ended after 48 days. A hand infection worsened, and he was medically extracted.
The season also concluded with Alone Australia Season 4: The Reunion, hosted by Insight presenter Kumi Taguchi. The special reunited the cast for the first time since their Arctic Circle experience. It includes unseen footage and reflections on the season.
