WIN commits to continuing local news for Northern NSW – WIN Corporation has announced upcoming changes to its NBN News programming schedule, reaffirming its commitment to local journalism in Northern New South Wales, following the completion of its acquisition of NBN Television from Nine Entertainment.
From Saturday 27 June 2026, NBN’s weekend news services will transition to Nine News at 6:00pm, providing audiences with comprehensive national and international coverage across Saturday and Sunday evenings.
From Monday 29 June 2026, NBN’s Local weeknight news bulletins will start at 5:30pm, delivering dedicated local bulletins for regional viewers across Northern New South Wales, followed by Nine News at 6:00pm — giving audiences an extended 90 minutes of local, national and international news coverage each weeknight.
The changes reflect WIN Network’s long-term commitment to regional journalism and ensure local communities continue to have a strong and trusted voice on free-to-air television.
WIN Network Chief Executive Andrew Lancaster said the changes represent an important investment in local news delivery.
