It’s a new week, but the remaining couples are processing Lauren and Clint’s less-than-ideal exit last night.
Oh, and the meaning of her catchphrase, “boganic”.

Lauren may have left (–the zoo), but the participants are looking beyond the friendship carnage she caused between the group.
And I can’t think of a better way to move forward than by swapping partners!
That’s right, it’s Feedback Week and the controversial Partner Swap is back.
Some of them are excited for a fresh perspective and some platonic bonding, while others are… not.
Beth, for example, will temporarily move in with Ryan.
At least Jacqui thinks it’s the funniest thing in the world. She’ll be moving in with Jeff, which is obviously fine by her.
Meanwhile, Jeff is…
Eliot is looking forward to getting a fresh perspective as Rhi moves in, mostly because he thinks they’ll be able to have conversations without it spiraling into a giant row.
While her bestie Jamie will be joining Adrian in her apartment, Awhina will be spending time with Paul – which is a little weird, because there’s history there.
WHAT?
Turns out, Awhina’s twin sister Cleo and Paul have dated in the past. The Perth dating pool really is a puddle!
Neither Awhina or Paul think it’s that big of a deal, but Carina is very uncomfortable about the task.
Awhina arrives and in his piece-to-camera, Paul accidentally calls her Cleo.
Biiiig woops.

Instead of heading straight to Teejay’s, where she’s meant to be spending the next three days, Carina takes herself to a temporary apartment to have a little cry.
“I trust him a lot but it doesn’t feel right in my gut, I feel off about it,” she sobs.Play Video
Carina struggles with the partner swap task
Beth is also not feeling right about things, but for different reasons. The idea of living with Ryan for three whole days is painful.
MAFS EP 25 RECAP: One couple make an abrupt exit while Jamie faces the experts after a catastrophic Dinner Party
To be fair, the feeling is mutual. Ryan worries that she’ll be on a “reconnaissance mission” to find out dirt on his relationship.
He’s determined not to give her any goss and hopes Jacqui will do the same with Jeff.
She… will not. In fact, Jacqui wonders if Jeff can “help Ryan understand gender equality”.
It doesn’t take long for her blistering takedown of traditional gender roles… by arriving at his apartment with a dress she’d like him to steam, please.
Jeff also assures her he will cook tonight. He might even clean up. I’m sure wherever she is, Lauren is breaking out in hives.
Before long, the new roomies are given tasks from the experts.
Some of the pairs are tasked with writing hard-hitting questions about their relationships for their temporary matches to answer honestly.
Eliot is excited to get some relationship advice from one-half of the experiment’s most loved up couple, but first puts Rhi at ease by confirming he does not think they will “fizzle out” like when they first dated before the experiment.
Then Rhi offers him perspective about how to get along better with Veronica, even though he is suspicious that she hates him.
Veronica looks for similar advice from Dave, and as she expresses how hard she finds communicating with Eliot, she has a revelation.Play Video
Veronica confesses to being a ‘better match’ with another groom
“Yeah, I do feel like I probably would’ve been better matched with Dave,” she says.
“But I’d also be better matched with probably every person on this floor.”
The hard-hitting questions task is supposed to be about getting feedback on your relationship, but Ryan sees it differently.
For him, it’s a chance to throw judgement question after judgement question at Beth.
“You’ve spoken quite aggressively against me and our marriage. Is that the way you conduct yourself in real life when you don’t have the facts?” he asks.
For Beth, all it does is confirm her opinion that he’s a “complete and utter”… something. Whatever it was, it required a rather long bleep.Play Video
Ryan asks Beth why she doesn’t ‘support’ his marriage
Awhina is intrigued by Paul’s questions, and very surprised to learn that Carina wanted Paul to be matched with literally any of the other brides due to the Cleo connection.
He’s worried about Carina’s jealous streak, which Awhina says is understandable.Play Video
Paul asks Awhina if she thinks Carina is ‘jealous’
Beth and Ryan have an early night to avoid spending one second longer with each other, but the same cannot be said for Jacqui.
She’s having the time of her life being cooked for by Jeff, and would probably be happy to skip sleep altogether for more pampering.Play Video
Jacqui is wooed by Jeff’s princess treatment
Eventually everyone else prepares their unusual sleeping arrangements, from a night on the couch to sturdy pillow forts down the middle of the bed.
It’s just as well because they need to be refreshed for the next mornings task, designed to help strengthen their relationships and/or cause a little chaos.
They need write a letter to their real partners, which they will read aloud to their new, temporary partners.
EXCLUSIVE: Clint reveals what happened after he and Lauren abruptly left the experiment
In Teejay’s apartment, Carina reads her letter to Paul expressing her concern about how their different beliefs may impact raising a family, as she is religious and he’s not.
It’s short and sweet and Teejay is sure they’ll be able to find a compromise.
Meanwhile, Paul has written a full-length manifesto. He’s worried he’s ignoring “red flags” like he has in the past.
“I feel like she is a little bit of a snob sometimes and come across as very judgey, and I’ll be honest with you this is giving me the ick,” he reads.
Ouch. And he’s come armed with an example.
He tells Awhina that when he told Carina about his past with Cleo, she made the comment: “I didn’t know you would go for that kind of calibre”.
Awhina is obviously furious by the comment.
“Where are you in your life, Carina, to look down at my twin sister,” she reacts, telling the camera that she could always return judgement on Carina.
“I could then call you an entitled, sheltered princess,” she fumes.Play Video
Paul reveals the ‘icks’ Carina is giving him
OH NO PAUL, WHAT HAVE YOU STARTED.
Awhina encourages him to talk it out with her, and we suspect she will have something to say about it all too…
Tomorrow night, Feedback Week continues – and then the couples come back together to confess it all.
Bring it on!
