Postcards on Channel 9 and 9Now (20 October) – Join the Postcards team this week as guest presenter Bridget Hustwaite joins the show, at 5.30pm Sunday on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Guest presenter, Bridget Hustwaite spends a day in South Yarra (Boonwurrung & Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country). Her morning kicks off with a coffee and a sweet treat at cosy European-style cafe, Park Pantry before visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. Afterwards she enjoys a fresh Italian focaccia from Zita’s Focaccia on Toorak Road then ends the day with a cocktail in hand at Beverly Rooftop.
Kris Smith explores St Kilda (Boonwurrung Country), beginning at local favourite, rustic Italian cafe Sorsi e Morsi before making his way to St Kilda Botanical Gardens to soak up some sun and enjoy the oasis of greenery.
Kris then enjoys a cold beer at British-inspired neighbourhood pub, The Lion and Wombat.
Madeline Spark discovers a unique dining experience in Drysdale on the Bellarine Peninsula (Wathaurong Country). Starting with some warm hospitality and brunch at The Bungalow, she then boards The Q Train, Australia’s premier rail restaurant. Post-train ride, Maddie makes her way to popular distillery, The Whiskery for a drink.
And, Livinia Nixon meets the cast of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, which is currently playing in Melbourne (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country). She goes behind the scenes with the talented performers who share some insight into the exhilarating show. Then, Livinia enjoys a post-show bite at Reed House, around the corner on Lonsdale Street.
