May on Optus Sport – It’s been one of the most thrilling Premier League seasons in years and this month, either Arsenal or Manchester City will be crowned champions – and Optus Sport will have live and exclusive coverage of every moment.

The final round of the Premier League season will play out on Monday, May 20, with all 10 matches kicking off simultaneously at 01:30am (AEST) – with every match live and exclusive on Optus Sport.

The Arsenal-Manchester City battle for supremacy – who play Everton and West Ham United at home respectively – isn’t the only storyline that will come to its conclusion as another drama-filled season of Premier League action draws to a close.

We’ll also find out which teams will be relegated from the Premier League, where it could come down to the final match again, as Burnley host fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest.

It’s not only the culmination of one of the best Premier League seasons in recent memory, but it will also cap off a frantic final few weeks of the season.

The month of May kicks off with a bang in the Premier League, with Chelsea taking on London rivals Tottenham on Friday, May 3, at 04:30am (AEST) in a game that is traditionally filled with fireworks.

That game is the beginning of a tough month for Ange Postecoglou’s side as the Aussie comes to the end of his first full season in charge of Spurs with games away to Liverpool (Monday, May 6), and at home to Manchester City (Wednesday, May 15) following the Chelsea clash.

There are also two big fixtures involving Manchester United this month, starting with an opportunity for the Red Devils to do their ‘Noisy Neighbours’ a favour with title-chasing Arsenal heading to Old Trafford on Monday, May 13 – kick-off at 01:30am (AEST).

The Barclays Women’s Super League also reaches its conclusion in May, with Manchester City’s Aussie contingent of Mary Fowler and Alanna Kennedy taking on the Arsenal trio of Kyra Cooney-Cross, Caitlin Foord and Steph Catley on Sunday, May 5 at 11:15pm (AEST).

Then it all wraps up on Sunday, May 19, at midnight (AEST) with all six matches broadcast simultaneously on Optus Sport.

We will also have every match of the National Women’s Super League (NWSL) live and exclusive on Optus Sport as the season gathers pace after its big kick off last month.

Over in LALIGA, it is a matter of when rather than if Real Madrid will be crowned champions of Spain ahead of the last day of the season on May 26, a week after the Premier League wraps up.

There’s also the J.League, the K-League and the DfB Pokal final, where we will find out if Bayer Leverkusen can end their incredible season with the second part of a potential unbeaten treble, as they take on FC Kaiserslautern on May 26 at 4am (AEST).

It’s a massive month on Optus Sport with plenty of trophies to be handed out – you wouldn’t want to miss it.

Howard Rees, Head of Optus Sport, said,

“What an exciting line-up of football we have on Optus Sport in May.

“Across the leagues, we’ve seen some of the tightest title races, European qualifications, and relegation battles this season and May will see the culmination of so many dramatic storylines across the world’s best football leagues.

“And with a subscription to Optus Sport, we’ll bring you every kick, every goal, and every moment direct to your living room – or wherever you’re watching – so whether it’s watching live or keeping up through mini matches, you can see it all on Optus Sport.”
