When the patient’s grieving father demands an enquiry into Lucinda’s actions, she is plunged into a malpractice investigation, led by Dr Norma Callahan and Lucinda’s former colleague Dr George Adjei. While George feels this was an unavoidable tragedy, Norma is suspicious of Lucinda’s behaviour.
As the pressure of the investigation intensifies, Lucinda’s confident professional exterior begins to crack. Is she hiding something?

The inquest into the patient’s death uncovers shocking new information which raises questions for both Lucinda and the Medical Investigation Unit.
The inquest into Edith Owusu’s death begins, and Lucinda and her colleagues are under pressure from the hospital’s management to protect their reputation. A pathologist reveals shocking evidence, and a surprise appearance from a familiar face leaves Lucinda reeling.
On the stand, Ramya and Lucinda crack in the face of tough questioning from the patient’s father, and the hospital comes under fire.
Meanwhile, George and Norma investigate suspicious discoveries about Lucinda’s previous patients – and uncover incriminating new evidence. As Lucinda crosses ethical lines to explore astonishing new information from the inquest, she is absent when her family need her most.
Episode4
As Lucinda’s home life crumbles, the investigation against her intensifies and she must fight to defend herself. Norma and George disagree about their new evidence. After their recent crisis, Tom wonders where Lucinda was when he needed her most.
He and Abi need some space, until she’s ready to prioritise them again. Lucinda is contacted by someone who is prepared to expose her recent actions unless she cooperates. Norma and George are stunned at their recent discovery.
George has reservations, but Norma is firm: it’s time to interview Lucinda again, they need answers. Lucinda is forced to reveal some of of the truth to Norma and George. But her reluctant confession has catastrophic consequences. Feeling abandoned and desperate, Lucinda sinks to a new low.
