June on Optus Sport – The Premier League and Women’s Super League may have concluded but the football doesn’t stop in June on Optus Sport.
LaLiga still has its final matchweek to go, and the relegation battle is going to go right down to the wire on June 5.
Elche have already gone, but who will join them? Espanyol and Valladolid are the candidates at the moment but as many as eight teams could be involved.
The biggest game will be between Valladolid and Getafe, who are both on the same number of points with the loser likely to be relegated in a winner-takes-all match.
Elsewhere, we will see Barcelona legend Sergio Busquets play his final game for the club, while Real Madrid will gear up for their Champions League final with Manchester City against Athletic Club.
There’s also the J.League to look out for, with Aussie Kevin Muscat looking to go back-to-back with his Yokohama F.Marinos side as they chase down Vissel Kobe at the top.
June will also see Barcelona and Spain’s Andres Iniesta begin to call time on his spell in Japan ahead of his farewell game on July 1.
There is also the return of international football on Optus Sport, with qualifiers for the 2024 European Championships kicking off.
There will be 46 games broadcast across five days with the likes of England, Belgium, France and Portugal all in action. Football never stops on Optus Sport.
