Casting underway for Mamamia therapy sessions – Maybe it’s your partner, or your sibling, a parent or your best friend?
Maybe there’s been betrayal, or a past event that’s never been resolved or addressed, or maybe a relationship is unravelling because of a disagreement.
Mamamia’s new therapy based series is looking for a diverse range of pairs who are interested in receiving qualified psycho-therapy to help them repair their relationship before it’s too late.
We are looking for real people with real problems who want real therapy while remaining anonymous!
Siblings, Parent/Child (over 18), Friends, Colleagues, Step-Siblings etc. We are looking for you!
Our qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist is also a certified Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) practitioner who works with individuals, couples and families. The therapy space is non-judgemental, relaxed and compassionate with a focus welcoming all walks of life, and a kind, encouraging but also direct solution-focused approach.
*The podcast will be recorded with no video and applicants will remain anonymous.
Examples of the kinds of challenges / conflicts that you may be facing
- A couple navigating the fallout of betrayal
- Grief management / grief impacting relationship
- Adult siblings who haven’t spoken in years
- A friendship unravelling
- Divorced co-parents trying to reset their dynamic
- A parent and adult child in deep emotional disconnection
- Communication issues (clashes in love languages / attachment styles / sex & intimacy concerns)
- Trust issues (managing past betrayals, etc.)
- Situational conflict (we always fight about…money, the kids, housework, etc.)
- Sibling rivalry or disputes around family dynamics
- Friendships where there is unresolved feelings around an event or hurt feelings or a boundary crossed
- Colleagues who are struggling to communicate or collaborate in the workplace
- Parent + Adult Child who are struggling with disagreement around life choices / lifestyle
- Conflicting desires (someone wants an open relationship, the other does not)
- Struggles within family structure dynamics like step-parenting or step-siblings
