April on Optus Sport – The big games are coming thick and fast on Optus Sport as we reach the business end of the Premier League season in April, with the ‘Big Six’ facing off against each other before the title decider.

The month kicks off with a decade-defining rivalry as Manchester City and Liverpool face off at the Etihad on Saturday 1 April at 10.30pm.

It’s the start of a huge make-or-break month for Liverpool as they try to salvage a top-four spot from a disappointing season, with games against Chelsea (Wednesday 5 April 5am) and Arsenal (Monday 10 April 1.30am) in successive weeks.

But it’s not just crunch time for Liverpool – league leaders Arsenal travel to the Etihad on Thursday 27 April at 5.00am to take on nearest rivals and current champions Manchester City in a game that will likely decide where the title ends up come the end of the season.

That’s just days before a London derby between the Gunners and a resurgent Chelsea on Sunday 30 April at 2.30am.

Elsewhere, Tottenham welcomes Manchester United to north London in the battle for a top-four place on Friday 28 April at 5.15am.

Over in Spain, Real Madrid will try to chip away at Barcelona’s huge 12-point lead at the top of LaLiga and will be hoping their city rivals Atletico Madrid can do them a favour by beating Xavi’s team at the Camp Nou on Sunday 23 April.

The Women’s Super League is also nearing its climax, as Matildas and Arsenal teammates Sam Kerr and Steph Catley as well as Chelsea’s Caitlin Foord push their sides towards the title in what has become a thrilling four-way battle at the top.

Optus Sport won’t miss a moment, with Sunday night fixtures hosted live from our studio in Sydney and expert pundits giving their analysis in the run-up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand later this year.

It’s going to be a huge month of football on Optus Sport. You wouldn’t want to miss it.
