Six artists compete in episode seven of Portrait Artist of the Year. Four are professionals and two are amateurs, and all six have already won their heats.
They now meet head-to-head in the semi-final, where they must paint their own renditions of ARIA Award-winning singer Marcia Hines.
The shared subject gives each artist the opportunity to interpret the sitter in a distinctive way. Their work must also secure one of the limited places in the next stage.
Only the top three artists will move forward into the final. The semi-final is the seventh episode in an eight-episode run, placing the remaining competitors one step away from the deciding round.
