Gold Diggers on ABC – It’s the 1850s, and two ratbag sisters from Sydney travel to Australia’s Gold Rush in search of their own treasure: newly rich idiots.
With a new house, and dreams of landing rich blokes, Gert (Claire Lovering) and Marigold (Danielle Walker) set out to copy Fran’s (Megan Wilding) plan for success by becoming wife material, and the annual ‘Miss Dead Horse Gap’ pageant seems like the perfect event to present themselves as classy, eligible bachelorettes.
But when their launch into fine society is an epic fail, the sisters find their spiritual home in the ‘tent trash’ revelry of common folk.
