Six Australian comedians go back to school under Principal Julia Morris’s watchful eye. The new six-episode series begins at Class Clowns Academy with the reveal of its house teams.
Dave Hughes and Nina Oyama are the Bin Chickens. Becky Lucas and Matt Okine make up the Cane Toads, while Luke McGregor and Bron Lewis are the Redbacks.
The day begins with a show-and-tell featuring awkward class photos. The teams then face a written biology exam followed by an electrifying practical.
After recess, drama class brings a different assignment. The comedians must execute a short play based on a powerful personal experience.
The mix of classroom tasks puts the teams in a school setting while they compete for the cup. Episode one introduces the houses and the first challenges of term.
