Call the Midwife on ABC and ABC iview S14E2 – Rising rates of gonorrhoea in the district cause alarm, and Trixie cares for an unmarried first-time mother recently diagnosed with a mental health condition.
It’s April 1970 and TRIXIE oversees the care of Arlene, an unmarried mother who is heavily pregnant and recently diagnosed with depression and mania. When she struggles with her new psychiatric drug regime TRIXIE must draw on all her medical and emotional skills to avert disaster.
Meanwhile, CYRIL and ROSALIND volunteer together at the homeless shelter. ROSALIND befriends homeless man TED and hopes to involve him in the upcoming Flower Festival at St Oswald’s Church. When TED suddenly leaves, ROSALIND realises she can’t help everyone.
