Call the Midwife on ABC and ABC iview S13E6 – It’s 1969. More babies than ever are being born in hospital and pressure on maternity beds is high.
The sisters and midwives from Nonnatus House facea range of challenges including social issues arising from the docks, concerns among the Nigerian and Sylheti communities and health concerns from cerebral palsy, tetanus and TB.
In his new role, Cyril faces his toughest challenge yet, whilst Matthew is summoned to a board meeting with his mother. Elsewhere, the pupil midwives prepare for their final exams.
