Mōwai Bay’s cute summer market day is disrupted when an unoccupied car comes careening down the bank and smashes into a stall selling trendy confectionery Crystal Candy. The stallholder, one Frankie Bolton, is killed instantly. Another tragic accident – or is it?
Vinny and Cole try to work out who Frankie was and why anyone wanted her dead.
And in a suspense-filled finale, Maxine, Saffron and Constable Jamie rally to save our heroes, as Vinny and Cole come face to face with the reason they ran from Australia, and a deadly ultimatum.
