Empty nesters Jane and Neil went looking for a restoration project that scratched Neil’s itch for bluestone and land, and what Jane saw as the ‘romance in bringing things back to life and their former glory’. They found it in Berrambool Estate, an imposing and sprawling baronial bluestone home fading away on 11 hectares in Western Victoria.
