Can You Keep A Secret on ABC and ABC iview S1E1 – Dawn French plays domineering granny Debbie Fendon, a woman who will stop at nothing to protect her family – it’s just the person they most need protecting from is her.
When William Fendon is mistakenly declared dead and the payout from his life insurance is sent to wife Debbie, mischievous Debbie spies a golden opportunity and decides to keep the money while William hides away in their loft.
When Debbie sees how down-in-the-dumps her son Harry is without his dad around, she decides to bring him in on the secret and give him and his young family some of the cash.
