About the Show
The untold and explosive story of the iconic band Boyzone.
Coming soon to Seven and 7plus, the gripping three-part series Boyzone: Life, Death and Boybands tells the untold and explosive story of five working-class boys from Dublin who rose to become one of the world’s biggest boy bands.
For the first time in 30 years, band members Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Michael Graham open up about their time in Boyzone.
Reflecting on his journey in the iconic band, The Voice Australia coach Ronan Keating shares,
“We were a bunch of kids – we weren’t perfect, we weren’t polished. I made choices I’m not proud of. After 30 years, I think now is the time to talk about them.”
Revealing their personal experiences in a band that sold over 25 million records worldwide, the boys also talk candidly about how they grappled with the true cost of global fame.
As the band try to close a chapter in their lives, they confront the strained relationships and tragic events that have had a lasting impact on all their lives, families and friendships.
This series is the definitive story of Boyzone, featuring contributions from the late Stephen Gately’s sister, Michelle, his former partner and pop star Eloy De Jong, and their now estranged manager Louis Walsh.
