Chantel started making her own, and sharing cleaning hacks online. Fast forward to today and Chantel’s the queen of clean, with a reach of over 4 million social media followers. Known to her followers as ‘Mama Mila’, Chantel now has her own book and even a product line. COLIN – SALT CRUST CHICKEN
A roast chook is delicious, but a salt-crusted chicken takes it to the next level. The chicken steams in its own juices, adding so much more flavour…in fact it’s Colin’s favourite way to cook and eat chicken! Served with sauteed leeks with thyme and hazelnuts, chicken has never tasted better.

DR HARRY – SAMMY THE SCHOOL SUPPORT DOG
Meet Sammy, the newest student at North Curl Curl Primary School. Sammy is a one-year-old Labradoodle and owned by two of the teachers. He’s an emotional support dog who helps anxious, stressed or worried students by just being there. On top of his regular training, he’s been socialised to the sights, smells and sounds of the school, and also visits kids in classrooms, the sick bay and even helps the teachers in the staff room. He’s been a wonderfully positive addition to the school and while his reading and writing skills leave a bit to be desired, his people skills are top of the class!
PETE – MIAMI DREAMING
Pete’s in Miami on the Gold Coast to check out a stunning home with loads of architectural details you’ll want to steal for your place. From the handcrafted spiral staircase to the resort-inspired alfresco kitchen area, plus landscaped gardens and even a pool, there’s a lot to love about this idyllic coastal retreat. But the best part about it is you could win it yourself and support an amazing charity at the same time. Pete’s showing you around this stunning home.
ADAM – FIREPIT TABLETOP
A firepit is a fantastic addition to the backyard during winter…but what do you do with it when it’s too warm for a fire? Adam’s come up with a very clever solution. He’s showing you how to turn your firepit into a cooler for your drinks by adding a stylish timber top. It’s got a lift-out lid so you can add ice and drinks to your firepit, and the lid can be used as a cheese or food platter, too. Best of all, this is a simple make that anyone can put together.
CHARLIE – LAST-MINUTE MUST DO’S FOR AUTUMN
Just because its autumn doesn’t mean you should pack away the lawnmower and take a break from gardening. In fact, autumn is one of the most important seasons for gardening and the work you put in now will ensure your garden survives the colder months ahead. From preventing lawn grub infestation to mulching, hedging and more, Charlie’s got your ‘to-do’ list for autumn sorted.
GRAHAM – LAKITHI GARDEN
Graham’s in the heart of the Strathbogie Ranges in Central Victoria to check out a stunning country garden that’s full of charm. Over the past 30 years, Gail van Rooyen and her husband, Brian, have built this garden, and their home, from the ground up. Named ‘Lakithi’, meaning ‘our home’ in Zulu, Gail and Brian’s homeland, the garden is a testament to Gail’s lifelong love of plants and flowers. A blend of formal and informal, there’s everything from a picking garden to a meadow garden, rose beds, a cherry walk, an orchard and much more. Join Graham for a private tour.
JULIET – CLEVER STORAGE, BEAUTIFUL ROOM
Juliet’s tackling a dark and depressing bedroom that’s in need of a pick-me-up. With low-light and little-to-no storage, this bedroom has become the home’s dumping ground…and no one wants to sleep in it. So, Juliet’s giving it a refresh with bright white paint and a very clever wardrobe hack to add loads of storage. The finished result is fresh, bright and perfect for a good night’s sleep.
CLARISSA – CHINESE-STYLE STEAMED SNAPPER
Clarissa’s Chinese-style snapper doesn’t just taste good, it’s a real piece of theatre at the dinner table! Steamed with green onions, ginger, coriander and red chilli and served with a soy and sugar sauce, boiling vegetable oil poured over the fish just before serving, making the ginger and shallots sizzle and the fish crispy. It’s the perfect meal next time you’re entertaining.
