JOHANNA – CAMP QUALITY HELPING FAMILIES
Johanna’s visiting an alpaca farm in the NSW Hunter region for a very special picnic, all about bringing fun, positivity and laughter back into the lives of some amazing kids who are dealing with cancer. That’s also been the mission of an incredible charity, Camp Quality, for over 40 years and Johanna’s meeting their acting CEO to find out more.
DR HARRY – KEEN ON CANICROSS
A new sports craze is sweeping the nation…and it’s got dogs of all sorts stirred up and ready to go. It’s called canicross, and it’s a bit like cross-country running…except with dogs! The dog is connected to their owner with a bungee line and the dog runs ahead, while the owner follows, using verbal cues to guide their canine teammate. Originally developed in Europe as off-season training for sled dogs, the sport is now taking off in Australia. Dr Harry’s checking out an event on the NSW Central Coast to find out why canicross is taking the world by storm.
