JOHANNA – A VIEW OF WYNNUM MANLY
Just up the road from Brisbane, the Moreton Bay region is a perfect mix of the coast and hinterland. It’s where you’ll find the suburbs of Wynnum and Manly, known for their laidback lifestyle, village-like vibe, plus great cafes and restaurants. It sounds like the perfect place to live…and as part of one of the fastest developing regions in Australia, lots of people agree. But do Wynnum and Manly live up to the hype? Johanna’s here to find out.

DR HARRY – DINGO PUPS (AUSTRALIAN REPTILE PARK)
It’s cuteness overload as Dr Harry visits the Australian Reptile Park, on the NSW Central Coast, where there are some new residents in the dingo den. First-time mum, Chilli, has given birth to three pups, Rusty, Muffin and Socks, and they’re now 7 weeks old and entering a vital stage of development. Dr Harry’s popping in for some cuddles and a check-up. He’s particularly keen to see how Socks is doing, as she’s injured one of her front legs.
COLIN – PRAWN SHELL BISQUE WITH NOODLES
Don’t throw your prawn shells away! Did you know they can be used as the base for a creamy French soup which is perfect as the weather starts to warm up? Known as a ‘bisque’, Colin’s sharing his version of this culinary classic. Made with tomatoes, fennel, cream and white wine and served with udon noodles, you have to give this recipe a try.
ADAM – ADAM VISITS AMONG THE TREES
The timber industry can be a pretty wasteful one and this week, Adam’s visiting a gem of a business that’s doing their bit to help by making recycled timber available to the public. At Among the Trees, in Sydney’s inner west, everything from old fence posts and palings to church pews are given a new life. Rather than ending up in landfill, they’re sold to use as benchtops, tabletops, flooring and more. The business also offers courses in woodworking, weaving and upholstery so that others can learn about the joy of making things with their own two hands. Adam’s meeting up with workshop manager, Luke Mitchell, who will take Adam through a small side table build which is part of one of the courses on offer here.
