A new season of travel
The Great Outdoors returns in 2026 with a wide range of destinations. Across the season, the presenters explore California’s sun-bleached highways, mid-century icons and the remote Shetland Islands in Scotland.
The journey also includes the fairytale villages of France, the turquoise lagoons of the Cook Islands and Australia’s golden canola country.
In addition, the season visits the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Viewers will also see helicopter flights over the famous Heart Reef and a journey through Ireland with wolfhounds.
As always, The Great Outdoors celebrates people, places and experiences. It also reminds viewers that adventure can begin overseas, in the outback, or much closer to home.
